We also use platelet-rich plasma derived directly from a patient's own blood for certain orthopedic applications.
The safety screening most people don't know about
This is the part that should reassure skeptics: donor tissue used in legitimate stem cell therapy goes through 14 to 17 separate disease screenings — more rigorous than standard blood bank protocols. Donor mothers complete extensive medical questionnaires, and every batch is processed through a certified lab with documented cell counts and testing results before it's ever used on a patient. If a provider can't show you that paperwork, that's a red flag, not a formality.

Who it's a genuinely good fit for
We're candid with patients about this: stem cell therapy isn't a cure-all, and it isn't the right first step for every condition. It tends to work best for patients dealing with degenerative joint and disc issues, chronic inflammatory conditions that haven't responded to conservative care, and orthopedic injuries where there's still viable tissue to support regeneration.
